Lennox, a global leader in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions, has announced a $6 million expansion of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Chennai. The expansion increases the facility’s size to 150,000 sq. ft. and will enable the workforce to grow from 900 to 1,500 employees.
The Chennai GCC, established in 2010, has evolved into a strategic hub for Lennox, supporting global operations in IT, engineering, finance, marketing communications, HR, legal, customer experience, and sourcing.
The new facility features modern collaborative workspaces, expanded Controls & IT labs, a gym, play area, privacy pods, recharge rooms, mother care rooms, and training areas, all aimed at fostering innovation and employee well-being.
“Chennai remains a vital hub for our global operations. This expansion further strengthens Lennox’s global operations while leveraging Tamil Nadu’s business-friendly policies and skilled workforce. With Chennai’s thriving industrial ecosystem, the investment is expected to drive collaboration, sustainability, and cutting-edge HVACR advancements for Lennox’s global customer base.
